Follow these steps to set up the Board edition.
1. Defining your Organisation (optional)
We have already pre-populated your environment with your company data and some examples. In this step you can add or change the data or skip it and move to the next step.
For planning purposes you need to create resources. If resources should also be able to log in you need to create a user for each resource. With the data security option you can limit access to projects and resources.
You can setup clients in order to link a client by the setup of projects. In the Planning Board it is possible to filter on clients. If you want to plan on multiple activities within a project you need to setup multiple activities in a project.
You are now ready to start using the Planning Board application. All resources can set up a link with their favorite calendar system like Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple iCal, Groupwise and Lotus Notes to view their personal resource planning.
