To plan

The Resource Board and Project Board are ment to plan resources

  • Tap the menu-icon on the top left
  • Tap Resource Board or Project Board

Make and edit entries/ bookings

Make Entry

  • Tap twice on an empty cell to make an entry
  • Tap a resource or project and drag it to a cell or board
  • Tap an existing entry and tap the +icon

Edit Entry

  • Tap twice on an entry
  • Tap twice on an entry and tap the edit-icon (paper & pencil icon)

Move Entry

  • Tap an entry and drag it to a cell or board
  • Tap an entry and drag it to the side to go to the next or pervious period

Delete Entry

  • Tap an entry and tap the trash-icon
  • Tap twice on an entry and tap on the top right 'Delete'

More options

Change time display

  • Tap the settings-icon to set the period Workweek/ Week/ Workday/ Day
  • Tap twice on the day/hour column to change time-units
  • Tap the arrow-icons at the bottom right for the next or previous period
  • Tap the calendar-icon to set a specific date

Add Resource/Project to a board

  • Tap the filter-icon at the top left of the screen
  • Find resources by code, (part of) name, department or position
  • Find projects by code or name

Switching between Resource- and Project board

  • Tap the Resource board or Project board tab at the bottom left of the screen
  • Tap the menu-icon at the top right of the screen. Tap Resource Board or Project Board

More options

  • Hide Resource/Project - Tap a resource/ project and tap the hide-icon
  • Edit Resource - Tap the Resource and tap the edit-icon
  • Edit Project Breakdown - Tap the Breakdown and tap the edit-icon
  • Planning Board display settings - Tap the settings-icon at the top left of the screen
  • Change Entry Labels - Tap the settings-icon at the top left of the screen
  • Update data - Tap the update-icon at the top left of the screen
  • Instructions - Tap the signs-icon at the top left of the screen

Information

Information – Utilization

The applications Utilization Departments and -Positions give insight in the Utilization (Planned hours) by Department, Position and Resource.

The utilization is shown in a pie chart as a percentage and number of hours:

  • Available = grey
  • Chargeable = green
  • Non Chargeable = blue

Information – Project Summary

Application Project Summary gives an overview for monitoring projects

Project hours are shown in a bar chart as hours:

  • Budgeted hours = green
  • Planned hours = blue
  • Actual hours (booked hours) = yellow
  • Earned hours (progress hours) = orange

Issues between hours (differences) are shown in red text under the graph

  • Planning Variance: Planned hours exceeds budgeted hours = Planned hours - Budgeted hours
  • Budget Overrun: Actual hours exceeds budgeted hours = Actual hours - Budgeted hours
  • Cost Variance: Actual hours exceeds progress hours = Actual hours - Progress hours (Progress hours = Progress% x Budgeted hours)

Information - Controls

Change Information

  • Swipe up and down to navigate through the data
  • Tap the pulldown menu at the top left. Select the desired item

Change Time display

  • Swipe to the left and to the right to navigate through time
  • Tap the arrow-icons at the bottom right for the next or previous period
  • Tap the calendar-icon  to set a specific date

Resource details

  • Tap the filter icon to analyse per resource
  • Back to Department/ Position? Tap the Department/Position at the top left.

More options

  • View graph details - Tap the graph to view details (values)
  • Change Application - Tap the menu-icon (3 horizontal lines) at the top right of the screen
  • Update data - Tap the update-icon at the top left of the screen
  • Instructions - Tap the signs-icon at the top left of the screen

Masters

Available Masters:

  • Projects: Add and edit Projects and Activities
  • Resources: Add and edit Resources And Users
  • Clients: Add and edit Clients
  • Departments: Add and edit Departments
  • Positions: Add and edit Positions
  • Skills: Add and edit Skills
